    D. Henson, I like your ORL blocks. How many more blocks do you plan to make? I plan to get back to that project after I make blocks for 2 swaps.

I’m liking all of the blocks everyone is making. Such lovely and bright fabric.

I’m still on block #9. I’m work on more tomorrow.

Hello ladies, Just checking in. Love all the blocks being posted.
I should be back in Fort Worth next week and back to work on my blocks.

I like both but the apples remind me of my home state, Washington. Thanks everyone for posting pictures.

Makes me think of Santa Fe.

I’m not sure how I’m going to put them together. I have made the scrappy sashing in her directions, however, I might just use something simple. I made 4 more today.

I made a few 9P today. I found a few 10” squares left over from a layer cake. I can’t remember the name of the cake, but very colorful. Crazy. There may not be enough contrast. I have a few more I can pair with a solid or TOT.

I have done the same thing. I made some 9 patches last time using some leftover 10" squares from some packs.

UGH!. I have been so busy! I am jealous of all of you who are working on your swap blocks already. I won't even start mine until after June 16 because my daughter is getting married out of state and I am still altering dresses for that and making 600 home made caramels for it and quilting customer Quilts with deadlines! OH, and then I still need to work my job as a Hotel Manager, too! I am probably crazy to try to get these nine patches done by the deadline, but I really enjoyed the swap last time. It is fun getting blocks with different fabrics from the fabrics I have.

TIP of the Day! For those of you who may be having trouble with your nine patch squares being smaller than
6 1/2" square when it is done, move the needle over one or two threads if you have that option on your machine. I have a Bernina and a Pfaff machine and both have that option. I use the 1/4" foot but I still need to move my needle position over to the right one or two spots so I get my scant 1/4" inch when I sew with the fabric running along the edge of my 1/4" foot.

Happylab - I'm making 25 blocks. I think that is half of Bonnie's mystery. I've been plugging along and have 2 left to make. Keep on going..., one block at a time.

aborning - You are having a busy few months and a stressful time. After June 16 you will definitely need some rest and relaxing. What better way to relax than make 9Ps. Try and get strips or squares cut a head of time (a little snip here, and there), then after the wedding, you can knock them out!! Congrats on the upcoming wedding!!!
