I didn't get a picture of the last few combinations so it will have to be a surprise. I sent 8 sets in the mail yesterday. Sewbiz sent you the tracking number in a PM.

I look forward to getting them also. Then I will have to make a decision on setting. I know I will want to keep them but I plan to use some for cuddle quilts.

Sewbiz, I won't get my blocks in the mail till tomorrow. I am truly sorry. I am still working on them. Just when I thought I was done, I started squaring them up and came across some that weren't up to par. I am sewing another set as I think it will take less time than resewing the ones that are not right.

sewbizgirl - Lol, i will use for more than the 9-patches. After years of using darker colors and off-whites, I find myself attracted to brighter, fresher colors!

givio - I was happy to be able to compare the "whites", but I got plain ol' white. The snow is a tad off white - actually, about the color of the box I am typing in right now. Which makes no sense to me, as where I live, snow is a brilliant, glaring white! The prepared for dyeing white also had a bit of a cast to it. Bone was actually almost ivory, imho - another misnomer bc when I think of bone white, I think of bright white. The only one I would also have liked to see is the porcelain.

I am terrible when I have something new - which is why the ufo's.... I make mostly large quilts, and if they are fussy (I do a lot of Bonnie Hunter patterns), it can get so boring! That was one of the reasons I joined the swap - quick easy sewing to get me back in the swing of sewing every day. Talkin' Turkey has been on the design wall for months, and I'm tired of working on it!

Here is a pic of the the blocks I sent. I almost labeled one "The 1-Hour Block" because it was picked apart at a seam, then all the way down to 9 separate pieces before it was done. It was stubborn, but I more so! It seemed like it took an hour to get that one done, lol.

Here is a peek -- I hope you like whimsical cause I didn't realize til I was done that most of my blocks have "cute" elements in them.

I'm really looking forward to the exchange - -I think I know what layout I want to do as well!

Hi Everyone! Just a mailing reminder... everyone's package should be en route by now, or going out this morning at the latest, if you are close enough to Mississippi to get 2 day priority shipping. I need your packages delivered and in my hands no later than Tuesday! Do not mail on Monday. It's too late. I have other commitments coming up and need to wrap this swap up on time.

Can't wait to swap those blocks in a few days!
