Hi Mary, right here. I've got a lot of pc and nc for now. I've been lurking.
I've also been doing mugrugs, but they too, are piling up. Maybe in the fall I'll join you all again.
I've been making a GFG in 1" hexes. My son has my car all summer while he goes to school
for his CDL. His car only goes 30mph, so I decided to make a "Summer without a car" quilt.
and all hand made GFG won. finished my triads in 3/4" hexes. I must be crazy. I gave the 3/4"hexes 50 x 65 to the cat. she loves it and looks good on it. now she wants the new one. NO WAY!!!
MARY, is the avatar of your yard? very pretty.

Lynnie I'm glad that your son is going for his CDL. After my son went all through that and got his license he is now a mail man. Go figure. I have finished a GFG patriotic wall hanging. I wonder how long it's going to take me to have it on the wall. Not holding my breath.
    Mary what a great rainbow.

    Mary, beautiful picture.

Pat, I could only hope he could get into the mail. it's impossible here unless you're a vet. No one gets in here unless they get in on a part time basis and who knows how long it's PT. he can't survive onthat. Good luck to your son.

That's what my son is doing. They don't hire you permanent right away and you have to be there 90 days to get the $400 clothing allowance. He has been working more than the PT hours and he's covering for people that are going on vacation. I hope he gets hired permanent as now he has no benefits but they are paying more than any other job around here. He does have a second job to make up for what he doesn't work at the PO

We all do that. We get our swaps all mixed up. It was a different swap that she hadn't received.
