OK now I've had it. I had left the garage door open today as it was still wet in there and I wanted the leaves to dry so I could pick them up. I noticed a whole box of screws and a spray paint can were on the floor and I figured it was the squirrels so I went in and started banging my rake on the wood and something is looking back at me. A RACOON.That did it. I guess I live on Animal Farm and I'm not happy. So Shandra told me to put some food down and I put some bread and the squirrel started eating it. I shooed him away and then looked again and the racoon was eating the bread and ran into the hole under my garage that leads to the sewer system. I wish it had eating the squirrels.

Thanks Karen and Peg. I sure feel old. lol- I had cheese cake. For some reason that is the kind I wanted. I've had a good day.
The raccoon makes me think of that commercial on tv where the woman goes to let her kitty in, but she can't see good so in comes kitty who is really a raccoon, and doesn't it get in the bed with her? lol

Boy Pat you are gonna need to start selling tickets to the zoo in the garage!

Susan I didn't know it was your birthday. Happy Belated Birthday.
And it's going to be raining again today. Going through some stuff in the basement I have now lost 2 trash bags of upholstery fabric and vintage chintz. All of that was gotten from yard sales here so it wasn't too bad.
I'm still waiting to hear if my pincushion got delivered on Monday and I'm waiting for one pincushion

Thank you pat. I am sorry to hear you have lost even more things you could have used.
We had a problem 2years ago with squirrels coming up on our front porch, and eating all the bird seed. Seeing the first squirrel come up on our porch looked cute, but that quickly passed when we seen what all they were doing. We finally bought one bird feeder that was one made to keep out the squirrels. It did work, but the birds didn't like coming to it near as much. Last year wasn't a problem with them so we figured that one year was due to them not finding food. That was the first time I didn't see acorns on the back side of our house. They always fall from the trees back there. Haven't seen them on our porch so far this year either, so I hope it stays that way. We don't find them so cute anymore. They are real pests, and had me concerned about them getting into the attack.
