You will then make a 12.5" block (12" finished) for your partner in the pattern/color request as specified by your partner. You simply send the block to your partner.
The only $$ expense is the fabric and postage and emotional expense of the excitement/waiting for the block your partner made for you to come in.
You may have read a different set of instructions where each member has to send a group of blocks and has to include return postage. This is not that kind of a swap - this is a one-on-one.

Now I know I don't understand this process. I was under the impression the leader chose the block for the month? And we choose the colors we want to receive? Do we choose a theme for all 12 of our blocks at this time?
Thanks for all the assistance.

You can pick a theme or colors . And then each month you will get a new partner who will make you a block in your color or theme that you have selected . if you don't change your color or theme then all the blocks you receive will be within your preference. I picked Christmas , so all my blocks will be in Christmas colors. Another has picked Iris' so all her blocks will be with an Iris on it .

Please add me for this!! I realize it'll have to be February but that's ok! =)
Theme: pinks and greens...and as far as the block...anything goes for me too! I am excited to have something unique from each swap partner!
