Four blocks do not equal one 12.5 block, but it may be more work as they are four little blocks. Otherwise, I will stick with my current theme.

If I switched, I would ask for scrappy, so no one would would have to buy fabric unless they wanted to. (I really would love to ask for 30's fabric, but don't want to press my luck.) I do NOT want to take advantage of you lovely women!

I wanted to change my theme after seeing all the lovely blocks that are coming in for the lottery! Im so jealous!!

I don't have a problem with that -- BUT, you gotta tell me which blocks are EASY and not paper pieced!!
What she said!

I am wondering why we don't just do a whole separate swap for this? I love this quilt!

Maybe if we all decide on a color way? or if we just all decide 30's or scrappy? Let me know I can try to organize a swap..with BRT's help?

They are soooo cute, I would love a quilt of itty bitty blocks!!

So, no one would mind if I switched my theme? Nifty. And if we do a separate swap, I will have even more for my quilt!

I love those little blocks. I'm all for a scrappy swap!
But either way is ok BRT.

PS: I just sent off 2 real-creme/blue blocks.

I also wish I could remember to charge the camera batteries or the cell phone so I could show pictures of your beautiful blocks to everyone.

Take Care & Thanks Again, Maribeth
I can't believe they got there already! That was less than a week and with a holiday too. Here are the pictures of your blocks. The navy looks black in both pictures, but really the blocks are red/white/blue. The house roof was challenging and took a couple of re-do's, but the flowers were fun. I'm so glad they arrived safely and that you like them.

And no worries about me liking yours. I know they'll be great! When they come, I'll post pictures of them and of my whole collection so far. Can't wait!

:D :-D :D

BRT - I like the idea you have about the small blocks. I'd be up for a seperate swap of those, too.

MissGiggleWings - Sorry. Life happened, and I missed getting your block in the mail. I will get it there tomorrow without fail! Thanks for being patient with me.

OK so does this mean we should start a new thread for a separate swap?

Maribeth, I'm sorry the flowered block was so wrinkly. Yeesh, you'd think I'd press it when I was done. Didn't realize how bad it was until I posted the picture. And on top of that, halfway through the applique, I realized I'd fused everything to the WRONG side of the white fabric!
