Here is the very pretty block I received from Tink121272. The "rosebud" tips are white with silver sparkles. I love the colors. Thanks so much, Tink.

dannypanny,Sorry you had a hard time with the colors. Pink and Brown seem to be the newest thing in combos
,I would have never thought to put them together but after I saw them I really like it. I also was a little short on Christmas colors.I am mailing yours Monday also,Maybe we'll get them the same day.

Ha! I found it -- the block came from Quilters Cache and is called "8 point star with a variation".

Thanks, Nancy. I'll have to check it out. It makes such a pretty block, and you did a perfect job.

I am so glad you like it, I really was looking for something that had some sort of flower since you were doing iris's and I couldn't find any that I could piece.

It is perfect! Love the grapes. You did a fabulous job!
I will have one in the mail to you soon. Spring Break next week so I'll have a bit more time.

I am so happy you like it! I wasn't sure what fruit to put in there and I played around with some different fabrics and found that I really liked the grapes against the black background, it really pops!
I look forward to receiving mine!

It will work nicely - there are blue irises in my real garden so the color is fine, and there are roses growing there, too, so the rosebuds will make it more realistic! :D Thanks so much.
