IrishGal, I would love to try some hard cider with you; have always wondered exactly what that is like. If you find some, I'll join you in the hole!

Just have to tell you all something funny that happened today. I think a lot of the newbies here -- and maybe some repeat SSers don't really "get" the concept of the hole. I posted earlier today that I was headed there to kick my feet up with a mimosa. So what was I really doing during that time? Cleaning the bathrooms! There I was with the brush in my hand scrubbing the bowl thinking how glad I was that I could at least be enjoying my virtual mimosa at that moment. The hole is all in good fun with no calories, no hangovers, and lots of great company; you can't beat that!

My computer can also accommodate a wish list. What a great idea!

I was inspired to do the same thing. It just feels to weird to list out all of my "hearts' desires" on this thread. Perhaps, telling a little about myself will give my gifter a sense of who I am......or, maybe not.

I've decided to just be thrilled with whatever comes my way. Y'know?

I feel like I added quite a bit of info about my likes/dislikes and such.
But in the spirit of what everyone else seems to be doing I filled in the
"extra" list that was posted here.
So here goes my additional info.

If you like chocolate, do you prefer white chocolate, milk chocolate, or
    dark chocolate?
I LOVE dark & milk chocolate. I do NOT like white chocolate at all.
With that being said I am a insulin dependent type 2 diabetic so
that leaves out the yummy stuff.

What are your favorite fabric colors?
Purple, yellow, bright colors, and any other color EXCEPT brown,
olive/drab green, 30’s-50’s era prints (and repos of them), dull,
“muddy” colors such as the civil war era repo style.

What are your favorite non-fabric colors?
Purple & yellow anything bright, also rich jewel tones, black, white etc.

Would you enjoy receiving sewing notions, such as seam rippers, small rulers, etc.?
No to seam rippers I have tons of them (10+), I love rulers I have most of the
Omnigrid rulers in sizes 2-1/2” up to 20” (squares), plus a few other size (6”x12” etc).
What I don’t have is the angle type rulers (45, 60 degree etc).

Would you enjoy receiving quilt patterns or books? If so, give examples of what you
    don't already have.
Not really I have many and don’t use them as it is.

Do you enjoy non-quilting books, such as fiction? If so, what type?
I love a good mystery, romance etc BUT I ONLY listen to audio books on my iPod
and never pick a book to hold, read, and turn the pages. To date I have listened
to OVER 1270 audiobooks since July 2009.

Would you enjoy receiving a regional T-shirt? If so, what size?
Yes, but since I LOVE super big shirts they tend to be harder to
find, and much to expensive (I LOVE 4 XL size)

Would you enjoy receiving regional postcards or other souvenir items?
    yes

Would you enjoy receiving a pincushion or needle-case?
    YES! I collect handmade pincushions.

    Would you enjoy receiving socks?
    YES love fuzzy warm socks.

Please list any other items, you'd be happy to find in your SS package:
    Hugo Amazing Tape (any size)

    Do you do applique? Embroidery?
YES to both but ONLY by machine (fusible for applique), I have 2 Brother
    embroidery machines.

What do you do when you're not quilting?
Watch TV, listen to books, make fabric yo-yos (I have HUNDREDS made),
play games on my laptop AND iPad (yes on both at the same time crazy I know).

    Pennif,
No no no to what the Lima beans or the fact that I hate yellow. No one ever believe either of those things.

    Come on SS . . . bite.

I sent a stick to my SS last year with all the patterns I accumulated over the year. It had quilts, table runners, mug rugs, etc. I'm thinking about it again this year.

    KAT
Yes I have many computers, and they would love patterns.
