I had same problem. Then I moved all the pieces to the ironing board and took just 1 of each and laid it out before I sewed any more. Then rearranged all my piles so they were lined up like the block was "supposed to look" like not what I had been sewing. After that, sailed right thru. Hope the hints someone gave me, helps you.

It must be catching. I cut out all my pieces last weekend and sewed one block. I liked it. So, I thought I'd finish them all this weekend. Somehow, I must have been having a "moment"...I am short almost 100 1/4 sq triangles. I don't have anymore of the gold either......argh....I'm putting it away til next weekend. :thumbdown:

Wish all you ladies saying your having trouble with putting your stars together have really made me nervous. So, I started cutting mine out today and now I need help with the green center. Which one do I use? Or do I go get a lighter green to put in the center?
We have 3 people in the house and 3 different answers....LOL

If I really had to choose I like Star #2 but would accept either one Mish. I'll post a pic of mine here shortly. Got one completely done just not squared up yet the rest of cut up blocks are on between cutting table and sewing machine. WIP.
