Yikes! Hope the doctor fixes you up in a jiffy Krystyna.

Cognito/Cogito and Korruptyna you two are kookalukes - what a riot! Krystyna you two simply have to be partners soon so the rest of us can get our daily laughs over your conversations.

Cogito and also Chasezzz and Krystyna - thanks bunches on the great advice! Nine patch it's is! I think I will also teach Wendy some variations with HSTs in them so I can also show her how awesome HST papers are. We'll see how much time we have. It might take more than one visit. They are coming over tomorrow so wish me luck!

9 patch is also an easy one to show the differences that light and dark placement can make in the finished block/quilt.

Ok, I'm putting a plea out....I have only recently learned of the wonderful things you can do with selveges, and oh what wonderful things one can do! I have been bitten bad and just realized it will take me forever to collect enough selveges to make anything of any size! So I am pleading to my doll quilt friends...if you have selveges and don't use them, will you share with me? I will gladly pay postage. Feel free to pm me. Who knows, maybe you will see it in one of my upcoming doll quilts.

i found a great idea for a christmas themed DQ, so i think i am in this swap way past 50...

Cogito, I have been collecting selvages for a while and have quite a few projects planned for them. Here is some of my collection. Maybe I can send you some if we are partnered in the next few months.

BuzzinBumble, I love your spelling of my secret identity!

Lyn! Wow, what a huge load of selvages!!!

Leg is now human sized. Came home with a wad of new Rx's -- some that seem rather scary in the side effect factor -- and a zillion appointments to get poked and prodded in very unpleasant manners.

    Default Quilt Received from Krisb

Just got my little DQ today from Krisb and I'm in love with it! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. This was my first time doing this swap and really had a good time. I hope all the pictures post as I'm doing this with my iPad. First picture is of course the full quilt, second picture is a close up Lady Liberty that is made with thread - yea can you say "WOW" and the final picture is the backing and label.
Krisb should be getting her quilt from me today also according to USPS tracking. I hope she enjoys what i made for her as much as I love mine.
Oh and by the way I'm originally from the east coast (NJ) and my grandfather came throughout Ellis Island as a small boy from Scottland.
