thanks so much. These are the same as the other one I did cause I had plenty but not enough for anything I've been thinking about. I can't wait to see them all. I love rail fence, that is the first pattern I ever made. At the Moose Lodge a few years back we ladies got together for some girl time and made lap quilts for shut-ins. Loved doing those but I live so far away that it was hard working and traveling to it, even if it was once a week. Now we can share here and enjoy each others accomplishments, and uncertainities. You snowed in up there? It is mush here but will refreeze tonight. Blessings

Well, we're almost "kissin' cousins"! Only about 55 miles between us and just under 70 minutes (driving, of course, at the speed limit). How long have you been in North Chicago? Our family love Hickory Hills. We're surrounded on the West and the South by the Palos Forest Preserves, which are beautiful in every season.

are you anywhere near Palos Heights? I was in the Navy Band for six years ( my husband is still in the band) and we do outdoor summer concerts there. Are you going to the quilt show in Rosemont in April? I 80% sure Im going to go it will be my first "big" show

Thank you Wilhemina. My favorite colors, too. Well, I love flowers and bright colors. Life, ya know, it just shouts LIFE.

Ok Ladies, does this pass muster with the group for this "spring" swap? I had to change my block choice as the Canterbury cross requires sashing to look right.
