Those Penguin blocks are soooo cute! I'm sitting here looking at my fabric. I need to wash it first. Hopefully by then I will have come up with an idea for a block(s). I'm doing 2 sets.

I've been to six quilt shops around the area and I never found anything with birds for a winter scene. I found one online that you posted a link to. But, I don't use my credit card on here if I can help it. I heard of a new shop somewhere south of me and I'm going looking. I could possibly do a third. I'm having a blast. Don't hold me back......

    Blessings,
    Ruth

Judy! I need the instructions on how to finish the quilt you have as your avatar. My mother in law bought one at a garage sale many years ago and I can't find the instructions to finish it anywhere.

Also, your block is sooo pretty! Really reminds me of winter.

No, I don't have them all done. Just this first set. I've a lot of creating and sewing to do on the next batch. I'd cross my fangers but they won't fit the scissors that way. teeheehee The beginning of this swap dropped right in the correct slot for me to jump in on it. AND Bookwork, if you don't want them this early, I'll wait.

oh JAGSD, you found snowflakes and cardinals. Lucky you, it is so pretty.

Skavanau, your churn dashes are beautiful.

Isn't it great how you can find beauty in all the seasons???
