Thanks Sandygirl! I'm on a serious mission so I'm getting everything organized (because I know myself and I know how it can spiral out of control! LOL!)

I use a cup cake tin with the large plastic glasses (like solo cups) and have lots of room and can always find what I want

For what I need to drag around, I have one of those roll up toiletry bags that can hang up or be rolled to go to class or move to another machine. Here is a link to something like I have:
    http://www.amazon.com/Household-Esse...g+toiletry+bag

I like it because I have compartments of different sizes -- I can carry thread, scissors, bobbins, rotary cutters, etc.

I pencil boxes for most of my small notions needles, thimbles, pins, pencils, pens, etc. The machine attachments i keep in sandwich boxes, I found these at the Dollar store a few years ago. They are actually shaped like a slice of bread..... I have a box for each machine and label it with machine make and model number and the box stays with the machine so it is always together..

When I am sew I keep a small tote by "31". It has an opening in the middle and pockets all around, so it is always ready to move from place to place. I keep rotary cutters, scissors, seam rippers, pen, pencils and a few basic color threads like black, white, beige.. It works for me

I built an ironing table on top of our old dining room table (found on the side of the road when we were moving into our first apartment) and this left a storage space that I made into psuedo drawer space to keep all of my tools. I pretend that they are organized because the are out of sight, but honestly they are a jumble.
(having read the instructions, I will now attempt to uplod a picture)

I want to get me one of these peg boards.
I am also going to have to go on ebay to find one of those condiment things they don't make anymore, but I just want one for the real thing. lol....I loved them.

I have all the feet for my Janome in the bottom half of an egg carton. It holds 18. It fits perfectly across the file drawer right next to the sewing machine. And over top of that a clear lettuce container for all the thread snips I used to throw on the floor. It slided front to rear so I can get to what's under it.
