    I did not like the first set of blocks, but really liked the second set. I think this will turn out good.

    Personally I like the top left and bottom right combination. Both sets look good but it all depends on what sort of look you are trying to achieve. Sorry I can't be of much help. Look forward to seeing what you decide to go with.

    Ah, the second one for sure. I liked the first photo until I saw the second one. that's it!!

    IMHO, I like the tans 4-patches with the small black floral block and the larger black floral 4-patches with the golden block.

    I like the left block in photo two. I love the floral but would put it in the long triangle rays of the star and, of course, in the border you planned. You might consider using the two dark fabrics for star rays and using the gold with the tans as secondary colors.

    I prefer the second set as well. The floral is pretty but it looks better with the tan star as opposed to the black, too dark.
