    Buttons! Oh my gosh, who would have thought. I can see my grandson making something like that tho, he has the patience of a saint, don't think I'm going to find out for sure.

    Did you find this on the internet or did someone you know make it?

    I think it was fun guessing tho.

    I can see that now... how very clever.. Hmmm.. wonder what happened to that button tin.... My grandmother used to remove all of the buttons from clothes that were headed for the scrap heap.. you have to remember that back then they didn't have all of these t-shirts and knit tops that we wear.. most things had buttons on them. I used to have a huge tin of buttons... hmmmm.....

    coal and salt, looks like what I use to grow as a kid. then poured food coloring on it to give different colors.

    Am I correct?
