It would look like an embroidered Baltimore without the borders, which is not a bad look.I would be putting a thin pink and white, striped sashing as well as borders if it were mine(but it's not) as I like a vintage 30s look.

I am now working on a similar quilt-hand embroidered flower baskets, but my pattern shows them as the center square in blocks that are called square-in-a-square design.....each block done in four different print patterns, but of one of colors of that block for example: flowers that are primarily pink would have as its four triangles 4 different flower-type fabrics, but of a pink color. So the overall top will look scrappy, but a planned scrappy......almost finished with embroidering, then to square up and add triangle sides, etc......

Small white border of same fabric, IMHO. I am thinking of stablizing so the embroidery stays this beautiful!

Love the blocks but I do think they need a little something more to make them stand out better. Very nice work.

Beautiful blocks! I think I would prefer a small pastel border.

For all the beautiful work you did on the baskets, I'd put them on point & use the brown pink would be to bright in my opinion but it's your quilt.

I love these. I am into hand embroidery myself probably because I do not have a machine to do it.
