Way back on April 26/2011 I posted a picture of a lap quilt that I was taking to a family reunion in Saskatchewan as part of a silent auction.
Well, the quilt brought in the highest bid for all of the items in the auction. I was very pleased and the fact that several people were going hot and heavy in the bidding war, made for some additional fun for others. The highest bidder is planning on hanging it in her home.
( I also like this cousin very much and the fact that she got it made me glad it will be appreciated.)

One of the best jar quilts I've seen. Pretty color combinations. Great job!

That is a beautiful quilt and she probably knew she got a bargain. You did a wonderful job choosing the fabrics.

That's great to hear. Congrats on creating a little bidding war at your family reunion. I am sure your cousin will love owning it!
