    Whew! By your title, I thought I was going to read a rant, but no - instead I found a picture of a beautiful baby quilt! So much better than a rant. That is really probably the most unusual baby quilt I've seen. I think it is very pretty. Nice job!

    I have seen a quilt done like this several times, and would like to try it sometime. It looks very easy, except the twisted center. How much longer do you cut that for it to fit on the block? I'm sure I could figure it out with a few practice tries. Great job on the quilt!

    BettyM, I think it was 1" bigger, but you also have to cut down the sides to make it look right. There was a template in the pattern.
