    My DH used to make reproductions of these. I think he called them a Franklin Chair, supposedly it was originally designed by Benjamin Franklin. Yours is a wonderful vintage find!

    I have one similar that I bought at the Amish Store. It has a blue cover and pad for the chair part. Right now I do use the ironing board part in my sewing area.
