That quilt is on my list of quilts to do........... yours turned out wonderful and I am sure your mother will be showing all her friends her treasured quilt.

I currently have my Labyrinth at the quilter. I made mine out of dark blue and beiges from the Stonehenge line, dark blue backing. My quilter uses the computerized patterns, and I'm having her do an all-over pattern of stars and moons.

You did a great job on this quilt! I'd go with the cream for the backing, lighten it up a bit. You could add another blue border to make it bigger also to please Mom. I see feathers on it, but not all the usual ones. I'd do a Peacock feather in the star, regular feather in one of the surrounds & a nice simple stitch like Harriet used on the other. I think the Peacock feather in the cream & an over/under feather for the borders. Send it to me & I'll quilt it for you. I'd love to play with this one!

Beautiful! My husband was looking through a catalogue and saw the Labyrinth and said he really liked it. I'm going to try to surprise him with one. I've never made a quilt following directions like that, so this will be a challenge!

Love your quilt. Beautiful job. This is next on my list & I really like Debbie Maddy's instructions. It looks like it is going to be much easier than the old method. No Y seams just lots of half square triangles. Can't wait.
