    Default Lime Doxies

I bought this fabric at a quilt guild fabric sale where I met up with Sewnoma, another QB member. It was so cute and so soft – flannel – that I had to have it, even though I had no clue what to do with it. When I got home, I found I had some backing material (very, very soft throw I picked somewhere like Ross or similar) in a perfect matching color. Done!

Well, plus my trim, which went off the rails a little. I cut 2.5" strips of black flannel, folded in two, placed between the seams of the quilt top and back/batting, and stitched around for birthing. I was planning to cut fringes so that after washing the trim would go all raggedy, but I without thinking put the raw edges to the seam and the folded edge out, so as I was trimming I realized instead of rags I had little loops. I was not about to go cut all the little loops so I left it as is. Turned out pretty cute, even so.

It went to Project Linus. It was soft and very cheery!

Very cute! And that backing matches perfectly, don't you just love it when that happens??

Very sweet. You really got busy fast when you found the matching fabrics. A child will love this quilt.
