A friend ask me to make a small lap quilt from some of her daughters little dresses. Her daughter is an adult now and will be getting this as a christmas gift. She said she loved the way it turned out and don't know if she can part with it now. I was relieved when she said it was beautiful, I was a little nervous whe cutting up those dresses.

The quilt is beautiful! And what memories for the mom it holds! Do you have enough left of the dresses that you could make another one like it to somehow give to the mom. Maybe let one of her family members know that you have it in the making if they would like to gift it to her themselves. I am sure if they know the memories of it for her they would love to gift it to her. Just a thought!

That's a good idea. I don't have enough for the same size ...but maybe enough for a wall hanging. I'll have to see if I do ,thanks for the idea.

That is so pretty. I love the way you used the collar. What a great touch. Great job and thanks for sharing.
