Great work...you're an artist...and, if she likes the colors as is...fine! but I really like your work.

Here is what I've found when I give a quilt to a friend. They love it because YOU made it for them. My first quilt was made for my best friend when her husband died. She cried so hard when she got it that I could barely understand her on the phone. She treasures the quilt and it is so poorly made...but because I made it out of love for her and her husband's memory, she thinks it is perfect. A friend will love that you gave of your time and effort to make something. Trust me.

Thanks again, all. I have now sewn the borders on and am trying to decide how to quilt it. I have decided that I do like it. I am always so hard on myself because I simply can't visualize the final product. It is like every quilt is a mystery to me because I never know how it is going to turn out.

I really hope my friend likes it, and I think she will. She did pick out the pattern and fabric, and I am guessing that she was able to visualize what it would look like. I really envy those of you who can do that. I have only been quilting 2 years, maybe I will be able to do that in time. :)

Your quilt is lovely. I seem to be like you and not really like what I am working on until it is done and I can see the finished project. Maybe sometimes we just need to have someone elses input.

I love it! I love anything with butterflies on it and the contrasting fabrics look great with the print.

I agree, it's beautiful. Quilt it with butterflies in matching blue thread!!
