Default From the mind of a 14 year old

This is what you get when your 14 yr old wants to help design his quilt and picks out all of the fabrics. Love the design, the colors are a challenge for me but I still like how it turned out. Finally worked this into my project schedule and got it done (top only)...son is now 25...but now he wants it to be a reversible quilt with a flag on the back. Now instead of getting it completely finished this week, I have to layout a proportional flag to fill the back. Currently measuring 92 1/2”. The things we do for our kids.

    Anyway...Thanks for looking.

Now back to my hand-quilting project until my fingers need a break again.

Yes the colors are bold, but they really work with design of the blocks. Nice work!

I like it! Not only the color combination, but what you did with the Snail's Trail blocks.

He has a good eye for color and design - and you did a great job of making it become real!

Super cool quilt. He did an amazing job. I think we need to listen to the youngsters more often and learn from them. Kudos for making his dream a reality.

Colors work so well together, and the background fabric is great. Beautiful job!
