    I have been buying mens shirts at the thrift store too. They have one day a week at the one near me that you get everything you can stuff in the bag for $5. I roll them and cram in as many as I can. I'll make a quilt with them eventually.

    u say u left the pockets on??? I expanded the pic and can't spot them.. I'd love to see a close up of a few pockets?? great idea!!

    OMG - fabulous idea! I just found a box of mending things in a closet and of course, my DH has gained a lot of weight since I hid the box - so now he can't wear the shirts, etc. - so was going to donate the shirts - now I have a wonderful idea of what to do with them!

    Very nice idea. 7.5 block. saving a shot of this. Looks like it works up quick and itsa sharp looking quilt. thanks for sharing!!

    I have attached a pic of my baby with his hand in one of the pockets. My son has autism and has this collection of little bitty things....I figure he will put treasures in the pockets.
