    No, it's not harder to quilt at all. It's just a whole different feel to the quilt when it's done. I have a daughter that only likes this kind of quilt. She no longer likes the cotton batting ones and she doesn't like them quilted either...lol...silly girl.

    This would work perfect for that. Yes, one side of each half square triangle is grey.

    I love gray in a quilt. Nice background for those bright colors. Your quilt is great.

    Very nice. Pretty quilting. It's amazing what we see in photos. lol So keep it if you really love it. Make something else for your etsy shop. You deserve to have something you love that makes you happy.

    I am on your daughter's side. it took me a LONG time to get used to any machine quilting as I always tied my quilts. Started seeing it Fairs' and didn't care for it. I still don t like a lot of quilting. Its pretty on wall hangings but I like my quilts soft and comfy.
