Oh happy day!!! I am all done with my Orca Bay top, although mine is more like Gumbo, lol. I added one more row and one more column and then did a braid border instead of Bonnie's, and the most important part to me, the top ended up 95 by 102 and big enough for our bed I didn't mean to make a Chrsitmasy quilt but looks like I got one Although it seems busy and messy, in a way I like it because it is DONE..will be quilting it next week
Thanks for starting this quilt along and thanks to all who participated it and made this fun, or mostly fun, I think I did as much ripping as sewing, lol.

Ok, I finally finished my Ohio stars. I put my mock-up on the wall and I didn't think I liked the color contrast between the purples/pinks and the teals/blues. So I made a few lime greens strings instead, but don't think I like that any better. So now what to do? Ask you guys, of course Please help me decide, blues or greens??

I like the green. I think it makes the other colors pop more and the pattern itself is more emphasized.

They are both pretty Diane! The aqua blues appeal to me the most because they make the whole quilt look like a lovely sunset just before twilight.

And Candi - i love your "Christmasy" version!

    So much inspiration here!

I am so glad to see that I am not the only one still working on Orca Bay. I am in the process of finishing the Part 7 blocks and laying out the blocks on my design wall. Getting close. Whoo Hoo! This one has been a CHORE for me.
