Beautiful work! You're working on a piece of art! I know exactly how you're feeling, too. I was laid off in 2009, called back, laid off again in 2010, called back and in 2011 laid off again...for good. I was off 5 1/2 months, sent out 75 resumes and did a lot of praying. I knew I didn't want to go back to that field - poor prospects for my future (I don't want to be off work anymore as I want to retire in a few years!) and I was 55! I asked the Lord to put me into something NEW where I could learn new things, and through helping people feel good about myself. He answered that prayer in a BIG way. I was hired in a completely new field, primarily because of my customer service skills. Our medical/dental/vision coverage is completely covered by the company, and I make a little more than I did before -- but what is most important to me is I LOVE my new job. So you see, what seems like the end of the world sometimes isn't. But I totally put the whole thing into His hands, and I'm thankful everyday for where I am now.

Nice to see you back Pam! Your quilt is looking great, can't wait to see it finished. I find sewing & quilting to be therapeutic and it seems to improve my mood when I'm down. I hope things work out ok for you.

The work is beautiful. Love the blocks, colors, and sorry to hear of all that is going on. I said a prayer for you.

Hi Pam! I agree with Jan as far as what would benefit the situation with you right now, as well as the cause. I too, went through all that mess...I was a department director in a large hospital when they decided to have a major lay-off...but you know what? I really didn't know it, but I was tired of carrying that heavy a load...so my being let go actually worked in my favor, and I ended up in another state with a couple more jobs (which I loved!) before I retired a few years later. So I guess my advice is to "Let go and let God"...because HE will!
And, just to be on the safe side, do have a visit with your family doc to check things out. As was said, sometimes you can be anemic or vitamin deficient or any number of little things and it will throw you off! I will be watching also for a re-post from you.
Good luck and God bless you as you deal with this.
