    Default And they are naming her "Birdie"
    Just made a quilt top for my DN to give to a friend who is expecting a little girl. They are planning on naming the new bundle of joy "Birdie"... (for real!!!!) So we went with a bird theme! The 4 patches are all bird print and the bird applique was replicated from one of the small birds. It is now quilted, bound and on its way. Hopefully the mom-to-be will appreciate the humor

    I had a cousin who's name was Birdie Mae. She was a real sweetheart. Love the quilt. So will little "Birdie"
