Hear hear. This is a prime example of casting pearls before swine. I am truly shocked.

I see nothing wrong with letting the dog lay on the quilt. It's made of scraps and it will be used. I see a lot of women (on here in fact) make quilt covers for their cats to lay on when they are on the couch, to keep cat hair off. What's the difference, just curious??

Isn't it great when you can make a quilt from your stash? I like your version of the tumbler with such pretty fabrics. If the quilt is a little thinner, so what, sometimes we need just a light throw to cover us.

Beautiful quilt, and sometimes the light wight quilts will keep you warmer than the heavy ones.
It to beautiful for the dog bed, make the dog its own quilt, but with an east pattern.
    GOD bless.

Very nice. That is an excellent use of scraps.

If you really are unsure of how to use it, I am sure there is a local charity supplying quilts to kids. In our county, there are good choices: both the hospital and a private social work agency dealing with kids in placement take in quilts for kids in need, as do many churches.

I keep one lap quilt in the car because DH likes it cooler than I do. A quilt is much nicer than an argument.
