    I was the care taker for my father and mother. Mom passed away Sept. of 2009. I spent all the time I could with her, and I am not sorry for it. Your quilting is beautiful. I have my mother's unfinished projects, and I am trying to learn to quilt. Myl prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. God's peace to you.

    Oh, at least you have the lap quilt, I made my dad a chenile lap quilt and gave it to him early dec 10th, he died dec 14th 2010 and I buried him in it because he was always so cold. I was glad I did it, even if it was only symbolic. I miss him so bad, especially now that my mom died monday night.
    I'm so sorry your mom died. {{{hugs}}}

    God bless you and your Mom. Your quilt is gorgeous!

    When my husband was in an out of town hospital for 10 days and I stayed in a motel for the nights, I brought my sewing machine and made blocks for a quilt. It's a very good way to keep your sanity.
