    One jelly roll and background fabric. This will make four stars and the will vary depending on how you put strips together. Easy and dramatic when done.

    Alaska sunshine, that's lovely.

    Another possibility is "Batik Buttons" starting on page 66 of 2011 Quilt Almanac, designed by Janine Burke, Blure Underground Studios. Tried to find a photo online of it, but they appear to be doing a good job of keeping the photo only in print.

    There is a picture of a Log Cabin quilt on the board with all white on the light side and assorted brights on the other - kind of a scrappy look. I have searched and searched for the post, but cannot find it. I loved the look of it and your jelly rolls would be perfect for that look.
