How much bigger are you wanting to make it!. I like the sublte tones. Audition a bight tone o tone to match the lighter tone. Go to the fab shop and lay out some fabs. Walk away from it for awhile, or ask for help. If you don't like what they suggest--DON"T USE IT.

Made my mother a DBLE Irish Chain, fist one and didn't like it, but finally, took awhile to find the right fabric.

I've seen those fabrics in someone's WIP and loved them. Count me in the group that says low contrast can be very effective. Today I challenged myself to design something that only uses three fabrics. Harder than it sounds, but simple can be just the thing sometimes.

I like the fabrics together ( btw... great job on your seams) I see it with one of the light colors from the flowers for sashing or border

I like it CMinor.
Use dark brown sashing and a dk blue then another dk brown for the borders. If youu want, you could widen the border in dk brown, then mimic the pattern on the fabric in an applique on topof the brown.

after looking at your pattern, I too think you should ignore sashing and go for a fancy border. Love how it is coming together.
