Annoying ads

Annoying ads
Does anyone know how to get those annoying pop up ads to stop popping up at the bottom of the pages? I tap on the x but this one keeps popping up, and then it trails to the middle of the page. Any suggestions besides for throwing my I pad out the window?

They have been driving CRAZY for a while now. Really hope someone as a solution on how to stop them! I wouldn't care if there were ads across the bottom like the ones across the top, but these annoying, flashing ads are horrible!!

I am also driven crazy by them on my iPad. It does not happen when I use my laptop.

I have exact same problem. Use an IPad. Sometimes they don't even go away when you tap the X. Or they come back immediately. Terrible.

I don't see them on my laptop because I use AdBlock Plus. Unfortunately, there is no such plugin for the iPad, dadgummit. I simply don't visit the site when I'm using my iPad, it's way too annoying.

It's on my iPad, too, and I really hate it. When I try to tap on the little "x" to close the ad, the site sometimes closes as well. Very irritating. I really don't want to destroy my iPad!

Agreed. I also have an iPad and they makes me nuts sometimes. If you don't hit the "X" just right, the ad opens and I especially dislike that!

Interesting that it only seems to be on I-pads. That is not a very good ad for I-pads in my opinion. I'm on a laptop with no special ad blocks and only get ads on the top and bottom. They don't move around -- thank goodness. That would make me batty. Battier maybe.
