Dotty - that is very pretty! I've not been doing much sewing the last week - been spending time moving sewing machines around and it's going to take a few more days to get them all sorted out.

Saturday I got the new background pieces for the 3" blocks cut - so they are all ready to sew when I have time again.

Dotty, really nice Nevada. Your way of using color is great.

I checked out Annelize Littlefair - she has quite a range of styles in her quilts. Even her Linus quilts really sparkle. And the whole-cloths were beautiful, just gorgeous. Lucky you to be able to attend!

I've spent the last two weeks rearranging my sewing machines, and I finally got things organized enough I think I can start sewing again! I even got my long arm uncluttered. Yea!

SueSew - if you look for threads that are "machine shed update" you see lots of pictures. It's so nice to have room in the house now - after moving 65 machines out! I counted, and still have 63 inside, but several of them are going out. I am sooo ready to have time to sew! And this weekend I need to work in the garden. . . . big sigh . . .

I got started on Indiana - got the 8 sections done but not sewn together yet. I believe that is block #13, and I kind of freaked out a bit thinking I must have fallen way behind since we are up to week 21, then I remembered I've skipped around and have several other blocks completed.

BTW - still working on getting the garden in - it finally started raining, so I got nothing done in the garden last weekend. Took yesterday off and got all the water lines set (I redo them ever 4-5 years) and started planting.

I have three 12" blocks ready to put the 8ths together, I wanted to get caught up by the end of June.

However this weekend I decided to get the minis done. These would trim to 3", but I can't decide if I want to trim them up so the points touch, or leave them with a bit more black around them.

I selected a few of the simpler blocks, then used different colors for different looks.

    And all 16 together.

One thing for doing these - it makes the 12" seem very easy!

I love them--I've been hooked on minis for the past few months. Wish I'd have done my 50 Fab Stars in minis--I've made lots of runners and wall hangings with the 12" blocks and still have a few left over.

I like your blocks with the points not touching--the dark blue makes them look like they're floating. Very pretty blocks with great color choices. In my avatar pic you can see what they look like with the points touching.
