Oksewglad...my UFO's are always older than a year, cuz I try to grab from the oldest piles first... Like Julie said, "I will finish, I will finish, I will finish"!

IMHO there's a difference. Since Julie just came home with them, I don't think they'd qualify as UFOs. they'd be WIPs. However, I'd say that if they sit a while while she finishes other items, they may become UFOs. Just how long it takes to become a UFO may depend upon each person's opinion. No UFO police here.

Sandy, care to offer your take on it?

I'll admit that several of mine near 15 years...ugh.

I pulled out a more recent UFO this afternoon and pieced the back and made the binding. Now I've got to seriously consider whether I'm going to attempt straight line machine quilting. It's about 60x48 and would be my first piece that size. It's for me so I won't mind imperfections if it's in the line of improving my limited skills.

I'm so glad that I found this challenge. I certainly need this push to get me finishing my quilts. First up, is finishing the quilting on my hubby's quilt. That's more of a 3 month goal. But I still have many WIPs that need to get to the finished top phase.

Glad to have you hop aboard the UFO train. Always room for more!

I've been quilting less that a year regularly so it doesn't take as long to become a UFO in my book. And I count the ones that I've only bought the material for. But I'm happy with any finish. Right now I'm practicing the heart FMQ designs that I made for the christmas heart table runner. I find that if I'm not practicing the FMQing everyday I lose some of it. I'm still planning a tuesday deadline for this one. Hopefully tomorrow I'll begin working on the actual runner.

Love everyone's finishes, counts, and especially pictures. I'm so glad that picture transferred over here.
