JeanneS, those greens look so beautiful together, and with your lavender. I think you mentioned previously that you'd be leaving on a trip soon. How long will you be away?
    ![/QUOTE]

This week is my last clue as I leave early January 7. Going to Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia on this trip. Will be gone the rest of January. So will be looking forward to seeing everyone's finished tops when I get back!!!

I'm not finished w/ this clue but here are two pics one of this weeks clue in my colorway, and one of all the clues together.

Oooh, I love the quarter squares arranged as pinwheels! Great idea, Kass...

Here's another finish from me. Clue 6. These were hard to do and involved way too much trimming. UGH.

I do not like quarter squares.
I do not like them in a house.
I do not like them on a mouse.
I do not like them in a car.
I do not like them near or far.
I do not like them night or day.
I do not like them any way.
I do not like them glitz or glam.
I do not like them Sam I Am.
I do not like the quarter square.
I do not like it anywhere.

BUT... now that they are made, I'm sure I'll like them in my quilt!
All that work and they are built.

Jeanne S, I just love your avatar. Every time I see it I can picture you racing off to the LQS!

Way too funny, sewbizgirl!! LOL I love your blocks too. I'm sure they will be worth the pain of making them

Argh! I miscalculated and cut too many 2" strips from lavender and green for the QSTs. I hope I can still use them in the remaining clues or I'm in trouble. Damn it!

Hilarious sewbizgirl! I do not like them tomorrow or today. As a result, I delay.

Anyone using magic 8 to make hst then using those to make the 1/4 square triangles, I started w/ 8 3/4 square made perfect 4.5 hst, made really close 3.5 qst, had to trim just a bit off each side of the triangle (I trim before pressing open while it is still a triangle.) (oh and can't use the magic 8 for the qst, you have to revert to the 2 method for that step)
