Kass, stunning, as is everyones! I think you should put some crosswise quilt lines in too, will eliminate potential sag it might get? But I also know when my brain shouts quit...I usually do it

I had an hour drive today, so my mulling time. I thought about this quilt specifically my borders. I already have the binding fabric it is a white background stripe w/ colors from the front and back. I plan on cutting it on the bias for the binding. I tell you this b/c I got to thinking if I'm already going to do a bias binding why not really make it count. I think I am going to use the same black floral and extend the border w/ it, only cut it in large scallops. I was thinking also using a biased applique 1/4 inch fabric in the front to echo the scallop.

    What do you guys think?

Kassaundra, I love your quilt. It's beautiful and I like the scallops.

I have started working on mine again and wouldn't you know it, I'm four units short on one of the clues. Bummer!

Loving all the quilts i have seen here.

Kass - the idea you have drawn out looks fantastic!

I have finished my ORL except for the borders. I ran out of the fabric for the 1st border, I am waiting for it to come. Glad they still had it online!

Whew, can't believe it. Finished the main top today and plan some borders of some kind. Preferably easy, lol. One pic is inside and one is outside, the actual color is somewhere in between. I thought my aquas in the setting triangles made the top muddy so I opted to lighten it up. So happy to be nearing the finish. No more aqua is planned on this one just creams, reds and browns.

Great job Emily, sure is a big difference in color between the two pics.
