the quilt is beautiful and Treasure is adorable.

I found a red block that has a dif 2nd strip from my replacement. Removed the crossover strip I need for the last green block. Progress.

I disassembled it, cut it down, and with 2 cafe rod brackets that where sitting in my tool box, I put them to good use.

Oh, the wall paper behind it is from brown paper lunch sacks that I tore up and stuck to the wall.
That is such a cool idea for the wall!
Your quilt is lovely, and the story of its progress is very entertaining.
But, I really appreciated you pointing out the fine finish on your background wall.
I live in a bunkhouse and when I wanted to cover the sheetrock with "western" paneling, the only one I found that didn't look like everyone else's cost $63.00 a sheet and was out of stock!
Anyway, now that you shared, I know that someday I will have something to use the paper sacks I have been saving - - and, I will indeed have my "western" looking wall covering.
Congratulations on your UFO goal for May and thank you for filling in the little details. <wave>

Finally made it--my UFO quilt for May! Here it is...all finished! It is a baby quilt made from the pattern "Village Square" by Karen West. It is a very sweet pattern that I simply have been putting off now for quite a while. I'm glad it's done and gone to a "baby in waiting"! :-D

I finally finished a UFO project in April. This was a quilt for my DGD. The pattern is called Cheese & Crackers. The quilt measures 117" x 122". It took me forever to machine quilt it.

I machine embroidered the flower blocks last summer. I finally made a table runner in May for my dining room. The colors work great in my house.
