I do this too - I love streusel topping on anything and it keeps the bread pudding from getting that hard crust.

I made bread pudding the other day. Yum! This sounds tasty too so I'm saving the recipe for next time. My dh is a big apple pie fan and I'll bet he really likes it. Thanks for sharing.

I'm definitely trying this one! My DH might even like it! (He doesn't like bread pudding but likes apple pie!)

My oven heats up fast and I have cooked this in less than an hour so you will have to just watch it. I have always thought 1 hour was too long but then as I said my oven runs hot.

This sounds wonderful. I've been on a bread pudding kick the last few weeks and maybe I'll try this one in the next few days. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting this recipe., I have decided to make a QB cook book from quilters here. Looks like quilters here are great cooks as well. I love any kind of bread pudding.
