Last year, my friends had their first Thanksgiving in their first place. None of us were really sure how to make a turkey so we looked on the Internet and found a video from Alton Brown. Not only was it the most moist turkey we ever had, we made it in two and a half hours.

So if anyone's interested in making a super moist turkey AND not have to stew it in the oven all day then this may be the video to check out.

I have never done anything Alton Brown has done without complete success. He's great!

I have cooked a Rib Roast with in a somewhat similar way. Start off with 20-30 min at 450 then reduce to 325 until the temperature is reached. I may have to try it with the turkey. I am not cooking this year, but maybe I will remember for next time I do

Same here. That's why we used his recipe because I said "I have never gone wrong with Alton Brown". He's a freaking genius!
