    This is not really a recipe but just a tip. I use buttermilk alot when cooking. One day I decided to try it in mashed potatoes instead of milk.....it was so good!!! Haven't used milk since.

    I've used buttermilk when making scalloped potatoes and that was good, too.

    I dont think you get as good taste with the powder....I only use fresh.

    I use Bob's Red Mill powdered buttermilk for everything. I can't get to the store and the church does my grocery shoping about every 2 months so I had to find a replacement for fresh milk. I even drink it as it has even less calories then non fat milk.
