Default No carb no calorie Miracle Noodles.

I thought I'd try these. No carb, no calorie pasta. Sounded too good to be true. Well one bite and rest went in the trash. They are translucent gelatinous slimy pasta. They are about 97% water and 3% some form of Japanese yam.

They are an acquired taste/texture... I don't care for them as "noodles" but if you chop up stuff and mix it with them and put it in a lettuce wrap and serve with peanut sauce, not so bad at all. Still not worth the price in my opinion, but my solution to the trash

I think there are Shirataki noodles made from rice that are supposed to be low carbs and calories but I don’t know how they taste.

My oldest son told me how good Lentil pasta from Trader Joe's was. I trust his judgement because he's a very good cook.
Omg, they were horrible- yes healthier than regular pasta but..............LOL

I think I'm just too Italian.........

Always enjoy laughs from you ladies! Think I'll pass on the Miracle Noodles, though.

We tried the lentil pasta. It was good the first time, but reheating they were awful. My husband is Sicilian and cutting out pasta has been a nightmare. We have "indulged" a couple of times and limit it to one meal. I keep a "sauce" stash in the freezer for times the pasta cravings are too much to ignore.

The Shiratake noodles upset my digestive system. I wish that they didn't because I love the concept.

I'm surprised my trash can didn't toss those noodles right back out.
