It's not so much what's been done to the machine for me, that can be easily remedied. What always gets me is the totally incorrect information. Sometimes I can't decide if the seller is just an idiot or they expect the buyer to be one.

The last 2 KRA has posted had DH saying we could road trip it from Alberta! I would even send money to someone to go get it for me and hold it until the spring!

I feel the same way. That is a great machine for the money and would be hard for me to pass up if I was within 3 hours of it. And, if it was within 8 hours of driving one way I would go get it once the mountains are safe to cross.

The W&W -what a gem!! - in Sept. we were in Richmond VA and did a tour of the Jefferson Davis house/Confederacy White House and they had one with a similar cabinet top in Mrs Davis' sitting room - haha - I was in love!! DH had to remind me to continue on the tour instead of examining the cute machine

Only about $2450 overpriced. There's a pretty nice Westinghouse with a Hamilton Beach motor and bentwood case that's been sitting on the Seattle Craigslist for a while now at $40.
