    Ok, so who wants to try to sew 21 layers of this stuff? within 1/64" accuracy...yikes!!!

    I laughed my back side off when a co-worked asked me if a modern machine could do this. I said that I believe that ONLY a specially made industrial today could but most pre 1950 machines would at least have a chance.

    That was a great story - thanks for finding it and sharing it. I would love to hear some of the interviews with the seamstresses and I definitely have to watch for that movie.

    I have enough trouble trying to sew a straight 1/4" seam. I can't even fathom a 1/64th.
