Default Victorian Trade Card - New Home - San Francisco

I just picked up this Victorian Trade Card on the auction site of doom...

So much detail to see... (Printer name, cut marks, hand cut edges, etc)

at least S&H isn't murder on ephemera. I look for cards to go with each SM as well as accessories. Years from now someone will part it all back out & sell it on ebay!!

Charles E. Naylor, born abt 1852, Pennsylvania, died Dec 1911 Alameda, CA

San Francisco address directory 1878, Davis Sewing Machine Company, bookkeeper
San Francisco address directory 1890-1891, New Home Sewing Machine Company, general manager

Besides quilting, collecting sewing machines I also collect ancestors, AKA genealogy. I am fascinated by people and names. So you can now approximately date Mr. Naylor's business card to the 1890's.

That is cool Steve. He lived for many years at 1439 Morton in Alameda. By 1900 his occupation is an attorney. I do like researching. It is like the hunt for sewing machines, I enjoy the chase.
