    I have seen a few that looked like nobody had ever used them. One I know for sure. It was the neighbor lady's machine - she didn't like the Sears machine - she liked the old Singer 66 treadle much better.

    The race cover is in the accessories and unless they are a worn out red, the stitch lengths are brown.
    And I agree, plenty of machines are unused. My mother uses her machine almost never these days. It's in excellent shape too.

    I so have to try that! I wonder if that would help get the debris out of the plastic covered metal skeletoned machines. Those are a nightmare to get crud out of.
