I also picked up a Simplex. I thought it was a clone. It says Washington DC on it... It's bobbin area made just like another derelict old Singer I worked on last week. I shot it's nose. In the back ground you can see the little Green Riccar on the other bench.

The Simplex is cool... kind of scratched up.

I also picked up a 'portable' Standard - Glenn I thought about you and Pat when I opened that one.

Then there is a Singer 99 and a Spartan. Horrible shape. I hope they can be saved. I think it is the worst Spartan I've ever seen. I forgot to shoot them. The other machine is pretty sick looking too. Looks like maybe the pox. I found a cool tool. It looks like a screen door latch but it was a screwdriver... not very good - it twisted - someone had the right idea though.

Miriam love the little green Riccar and the other machines! I feel a trip to the thrift shop coming on!!! Lol. Babysitting my grand puppy so it will have to be a quick one.

I need to shoot a pic of that little green Riccar and do it justice. It is very nice. I'm thinking the Simplex has stolen the Riccar's foot control.

I got these machines on the auction. Lately there has been a lot wrong with those auction machines... I'm wondering where they all were before GW. Our regular TS doesn't have anything good at all.

I want a little screw driver like that only good. That one doesn't have very good edges at all - someone twisted the ends as well. BUT it does fit in tight places.
