Congrats, Steve.... so happy for you both. My DH and I have been together 48 years.... can't think of a life without him by my side.

A suggestion for a machine for the shelter?? I would be happy with most all of the ones I have. I love my 15-91. It is so powerful, does reverse and the feed dogs drop. I hear that the 201s are wonderful as well.

I'm going crazy - well I've been there a while... I have an old Singer 15 somebody stripped off the paint. It is so ugly no mother could love this one. I would like to put a big old spoked hand wheel on it but the shaft is too long for most hand wheels. It's way too long. It's hand wheel is very small makes it hard for me to turn. The machine doesn't have a motor boss. The motor is held on by the doodad in the back. I think this one has been modified... LOL
I shot a couple pics of the hand wheel. Maybe someone knows something about hand wheels. It's hand wheel is on the left and the spoked wheel is on the right.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder...
It really does say Singer on the medallion.
