Oooooh, don't sell her. Get some needles of of D-bay and have the only classic black treadle machine that zig zags.!
Or hang on to it till I am in town and it can come live with a pretty black 306

It's not a treadle. I don't really "sew", I only quilt, and I have a gazillion other machines! And I hate hate hate using a cabinet because my legs don't fit under one!

I'll be happy to sell her to you (on the condition that you take that Kenmore too!!) if you can make it out this way!

My 201 is also in a cabinet. I can only get one leg under it. That's OK cos that's all I need to push the knee lever.

I only get one let under my treadles too. Don't need two.

greywuuf, yes occasionally you need to actually sew with them. Keeps 'em happy.

I think oiling and spinning makes them happy too !
Ah, I'm tired. I cleaned two machines and quilted a wall hanging. I'm ready to put my feet up and read some Stephen King. My husband works at home and he always has us running on the weekends too.

I'm a dummy. I went to the Singer store and asked if they have needles for a 201. They did and I paid 3x more than I usually spend on needles and I got home and looked and said, "OH$hit! I have a 206". Needless to say, I'm taking the needles back some day.
